Several Major Highlights from 2005: |
|
* The Third Annual CCA Conference was held in August. Each year the conference attendance grows as more churches, organizations and individuals become involved, network with each other and spread the excitement of CCA.
* Afghan believers from Australia, Canada, Netherlands and the United States attended the August conference. Not only did they attend, our Afghan brothers and sisters took leadership roles in teaching, prayer times, singing and worship. The sweet fellowship that took place was absolutely amazing!
* A direct blessing from the conference is the start of the first Afghan church in Los Angeles, California. The fellowship of believers is now meeting in Afghan homes and is growing each time it meets. PRAISE THE LORD!!!
* Enough money has been raised to build a new radio studio in Australia where God’s Word can be proclaimed to listeners in several countries. An Afghan believer and his wife broadcast several types of programs from their home. In the past, they would have to tape and retape due to the noise from the neighborhood interrupting such as dogs barking and children crying. This will no longer be a problem.
